by kurokubi, 4 years agoTbh, this add-on isn't very useful anymore purely for the fact that website version of youtube now does everything this add-on does. I'm giving it four stars because it is extremely useful and convenient had youtube not updated to do similar/the same things. The only thing that this add-on does that youtube does not is that this changes a videos ratio/size to be smaller so it appears clearer/higher resolution. A lot of negative reviews complain that it causes videos to be stuck as a small box in the corner of the screen or that it makes the video unable to go full screen. What they probably did and ont realize is that they set the resolution for the add-on to 2440p(4k) and tried to watch a video that's highest resolution is only 480p-720p. The add-on can't upscale the video's quality and magically add 8,294,400 pixels of detail and information it neither had nor was even programmed to find and jigsaw together onto however many frames-per-second in real-time in the first place either... especially not for free.

- Rated 1 out of 5by motomast3r, a month agoIt used to work fine a year ago. Now it's not working correctly :(

- Rated 2 out of 5by Anutrix, a month agoNow, it makes Youtube buffer repeatedly and get stuck sometimes too even with same video quality.
Just disabling extension causes the buffering to be unstuck even though video quality or any other setting is unchanged.
It used to work fine couple of years back. - Rated 2 out of 5by MasterFranny, a month agounfortunately it does not work for the option i downloaded it for - it does not change the quality/resolution of the youtube video at all, but it does set the size of the video to the specified one.

- Rated 2 out of 5by Ivia Relle, 3 months agoWorks at what it does, but I can't get the settings to open again to change them, and if you set a playback speed it resets to that on every new video even if you change the speed and wanted that same new speed on, say, a whole playlist. So, doesn't suit my needs.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Kent, 4 months agoNo reason to request your data for all websites. This reeks of keylogger/malware or other security nightmare and should be removed from the mozilla store.

- Rated 2 out of 5by Nick, 5 months agoMinimal and useful, but currently broken. Also needs the ability to select default fps and secondary resolution if primary selected resolution is not available for video. I selected 1440p, but my videos keep starting at 480p when 1440p is not available, and most videos don't 1440p.
