by Julene, a year agoUpdated Review: Changing to 5 Stars!! I saw the developer response and decided to try again and now it works like a charm! I installed the add-on, refreshed my Pinterest page and now instead of promoted pins and ads I just see blocks of gradient colors. The other add-on I used before just left those spaces white and I like this much better. Thank you so much for your response and for making Pinterest enjoyable again!
Former 1-star review: Neither this or the other Pinterest ad remover by this developer worked for me. All of the promoted ads are still visible. I'm using a MacOS Ventura 13.5.2. I used to have a Pinterest ad blocker that worked really well but it seems to have disappeared. Had high hopes for this one but was very disappointed. Wish I knew how to make it work!

posted a year agoBoth extensions have been updated to work with at least the Firefox versions listed here: https://gitlab.com/AnthyG/adblock-gradients/-/merge_requests/1#note_1655010833
However I do recommend using AdBlock-Gradients instead of pinteblock, because it eases the development process for me (as in I have to do less).
