If you are still being asked to disable Adblock Plus even with ABP already off/page allowlisted, most likely something else is causing the issue. We believe this issue has now been fixed! Can you please try updating your ABP extension?
To do so, do the following:
1 - Click on your Firefox menu (the three lines located on the upper-right of your screen)
2 - Click on Add-Ons and Themes
3 - Click on Extensions
4 - Next to Manage your Extensions, click on the gear icon
5 - Select Check for Updates

We are aware of the performance issue with ABP on YouTube and other sites and we are preparing a fix we hope to release soon. Please keep an eye out for an update and let me know if you continue to see an issue. The current version of ABP is 3.22.
In the meantime, to help with the lag, unsubscribing from any unnecessary filter lists may help. We recommend only using only EasyList and ABP Filters, if possible.
