They do a better job at updating their filters than other ad blockers, but remember I have premium and use the desktop app too so the experience may be slightly different for free users with just the browser extension. Their desktop app is better than the others I've tried as well. If you hate ads to the extent that you'd pay for service to never see an ad again like me then I recommend these guys.
