- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18775554, 12 hours agoRecent updates introduced a slow and ugly UI but worse than that -- I can't log in to some websites with the extension added to Firefox. The sites load fine when this one extension is removed. Really disappointed in another software solution being made objectively worse over time for NO REASON. STOP TOUCHING IT.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 15593412, 17 hours agoIt used to be good. The new UI is not only unpleasant, but SLOW, loading regularly. Autocomplete of credit card is not working any more, not even recognizing the pages with card inputs. Will abandon the product if they will not revert the old behaviour (not talking about the UI only!).
- Rated 2 out of 5by release3, a day agoI don't need to repeat what everyone else is saying. This update is absolutely terrible. Been paying for this product for years, I won't be if their development team continues designing their software like this.
Stop sacrificing utility and function for the UI. Serve ALL your customers, not just casual users who care more how pretty their tools are over how useful they are. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18773626, 2 days agoNew UI is terrible. Multiple clicks to get to an edit, Save and Cancel are in the same place, and the same color. Autofill feature got even worse with the update. I've been a very happy customer for years, and will likely be changing password managers this year :/
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 16958802, 2 days agoThe new UI is terrible and adds multiple steps to a process that used to be essentially one click only. The page with the info about the new UI gave instructions for bringing back at least the click anywhere to fill option, but the menus don't have all of the options the instructions say, so it's not possible to revert. Other functionality seems to have been taken away as well or, as other reviews have said, hidden so well that I've been unable to find. Incredibly disappointing update.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13810948, 2 days agoBeen using it for around 5 years now, love it. With it's recent update it got more responsive in auto-completing login fields, so congrats to the devs!
- Rated 2 out of 5by HoodedLime, 2 days agoUsed to be an amazing addon, easy to use, intuitive, secure. Now it is only secure. Latest update completely ruined the UI, nothing is where you think it would be, I can't just fill my details on website with one click (not talking about login), either this option was removed or it is hidden so well I am unable to find it. Extremely disappointed. There was no need to do any of that.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Mtro, 2 days agoThis is still the most trustworthy password manager imo and until recently was more or less perfect. They did a major revamp that makes the plugin clunky and dysfunctional. If you start using it *now* it might not be much of a problem for you, but it's like someone broke into my house and rearranged all my tools.

- Rated 2 out of 5by 5hiftyy, 3 days agoWith the new 2024.12.3 update, my muscle memory has been the death of me. Many of the buttons have changed places, the options are different.
Example; when opening the add-on to complete a fill-in action, clicking the main rectangle no longer defaults to auto-fill. It now opens the menu to view the details. Then I have to go back out a menu level, then click on the TINY "(Fill)" blue pill button. The text is so slim and small that to a person with average eyesight, it looks like (F|||) It's a terrible look, and requires two extra interactions I didn't need before.
(Hindsight edit; I found the following steps to add the copy username/password buttons back
Settings > Appearance > Show quick copy actions on vault
I'll give you another star for fixing that at least)
The lack of consideration given to the effect this update has on the user's workflow is astounding. If you wanted to make it more "Apple" and keep the same functionality, that's fine. Making functional changes too, and adding extra steps?? That's too far. I'd suggest reverting back to the previous update's functional framework, and then you can keep the new look.
Edit: while I'm at it, Feature request: Have there be an options default-generation settings, and let me generate a new username or password or whatever can be generated with one click. Add a kebab menu beside the generate buttons for people who change requirements every time. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 12899142, 3 days agoUpdate 1/8/2025:
The Bitwarden forum mods are now in full-force censorship on their community forum. Anyone that provides feedback saying the update severely inhibits their workflow now gets their posts deleted immediately. They've also limited posts to 1 per hour to stop all the complaints coming in. Censorship is not the answer as the world now knows, however Bitwarden is suppressing any negative feedback where they can control it.
This app has fabulous for years, but there was a HUGE UI DOWNGRADE in late 2024 and it takes many clicks now to just get logged into a site. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE UI change and I hate it!!! PLEASE, change it back! - Rated 1 out of 5by murf, 3 days ago"Release notes for 2024.12.3 - Bug Fixes" LIES! This is major UI/UX redesign. It's not good. I resent that the bitwarden subscription renewed before I could cancel it. The UI is slower, sluggish, more clicks required, it moves, it's counter-productive.
- Rated 2 out of 5by davimack, 3 days agoIt certainly does what it should, but the UI for filling passwords is hideous.
Currently the “fill” button occupies approximately 5% of the card. The “copy” button occupies less than that. Both of those activities are performed far more frequently than “view,” and yet the majority of the card is dedicated to “view.”
Also? This is the reverse of the way the application works in other browsers, so if you use Chrome and have it done properly, you'll be continually miserable with FireFox.
This plugin needs to create a “view” button to replace the “Fill” button and make the majority of the card “fill” the credentials. - Rated 5 out of 5by Matheus Fongaro, 3 days ago
