- Rated 2 out of 5by murf, 2 days ago2024.12.02 UI extension update is awful. ZERO STARS! 5 STARS for bitwarden the best password manager on our flat earth. 2 star average. BItwarden may have just turned itself into the worse pw manager in existence (from the ui perspective, which is everything!).
Bitwarden, please reverse this nonsense. It didn't make the tool easier to use but difficult to use. Extra clicks, sluggish response (it- feels like it's doing a get to Bitwarden every time I hit Ctrl-Y). It's wrong wrong wrong.
I'm a paying customer (and I donate!) since 2018 and may for multiple accounts. Please reflect on these reviews from people loyal the greatest pw manager on the internet.
This same kind of UI change-for-the-worse is how Evernote destroyed customer base. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18747101, 2 days agoYou just couldn't help yourself, could you?
You just HAD to do the ONE thing that almost EVERY user hates, but for some reason, lemming effect ui devs seems to follow in terms of horrid, unintuitive, "add more clicks to make life as difficult for our users as possible" garbage layouts.
Now, instead of ONE click to copy a password, I have to click 2-3 times for the same forking thing.
Make that kind of sweeping changes OPT IN, WITH examples of "this is a new thing you can turn on if you wish so, and it'll mean that this this and that will change to so n so" instead of just showing it down our throats. - Rated 2 out of 5by Kelue, 2 days agoBeen a happy Bitwarden customer for years, never had any complaints about the layout or UI. This is a classic case of making it look pretty while knee-caping its actual functions; a design philosophy that is an absolute cancer on the whole industry lately.
You made it harder to do the singular thing this extension is meant to do by shrinking the thing you need to click to a tiny button.
You eliminated the folder structure and now you have to search for everything by default? What populates the tab seems to be based on "Suggestions" and not simply by letting me put folders and types there.
All items are shown on the the opening tab for no reason? Not to mention the classic wasted space and floating elements that have infected every UI across the board.
Massively disappointed. Just like with the Android app, Bitwarden's design team seems the be making decisions without actually asking users what they need and want first. - Rated 1 out of 5by Purrwicca, 2 days agoYou had to go a screw up the Bitwarden add on didn't you. No way to just copy password or user, can't find how to delete old sign in, just an all around mess of an update!

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18746654, 2 days agoGreat password manager, new extension UI is a backwards step all round. Why make it harder to do the 1 thing you want to be easy in a password manager, copying the username and passwords?
And just realised that now all of favourites/pinned items have been removed from the initial screen/vault tab. Down to 1 star. - Rated 1 out of 5by chermy, 2 days agoWhy you list "All Items" in vault tab? I'd like to try new password vault software if you keep updating these kind of UI elements.

- Rated 2 out of 5by Gary B, 5 days agoI love the desktop extensions (Firefox, Chrome), but the Firefox for Android version is unusable for me. Once I access the extension in Firefox on my Android phone, I cannot get back out of it. The extension's back button doesn't work, so I simply cannot continue using FIrefox without closing the app and reopening it.
