- Rated 2 out of 5by Karoline B Bakke, 4 years agoI used to really like Dark Reader, until it seemingly ruined firefox for me. Now, I have some websites that will only work if I enable Dark Reader, as the text often is permanently white. This is a problem that has stayed even after I disabled Dark Reader. The only thing that works is completely reinstalling firefox. Some websites just don't look as good in dark mode, so not having the option to turn it off sucks. It also started slowing down my browser like crazy, so it has its fair share of issues.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Mitch M, 4 years agoThis is by far the best FF add-on I have, and it was just added a few hours ago. Nothing online is as important as being able to comfortably read and view images when browsing. If your eyes get hurt/strained it not only impacts your browsing experience but it can mess with your eye health long term. This add-on is allowing me to surf at night with minimal to no room lighting and not be blinded when a normally overly white page loads. I have just begun to play with the wide range of customizable options available. I am feeling a donation is heading to a dev after I play with this a little more and learn how to best use it.

- Rated 3 out of 5by rouge217, 4 years agoThis worked really well for some websites and didn't work on others. There were some issues on some websites where it worked too - for instance if you open a video on youtube it was able to convert it to dark mode, but it wasn't able to change the font color of the channel to a different color which made it practically invisible as black on black.
- Rated 4 out of 5by denis1276, 4 years agoAddon is perfect but with dynamic theme i have slow page load on youtube and blog with vbulletin. The others themes dont work correctly. For example in yt when i have change to filter or filter+ the left bar words, dissipated. In all other sites i have not problem. Please make something about dynamic theme.

- Rated 5 out of 5by T Rich, 4 years agoIt works. And it often makes websites look better than the official dark theme. Easy to switch off on a per-website basis when something is obscured. The UI for that isn't obvious though (you have to click the website name in the Dark Reader box).
