- Rated 3 out of 5by ZeGeko, a year agoLooks like it makes Firefox to heat up my Mac (?).
Firefox 122.01 on MacOs 11.7.10 (BigSur).
As soon as I deactivate it, the temp goes down to normal. - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 18106186, a year agoMay cause increase in webpage loading time, try disabling this extension if your browser keeps getting "The connection has timed out" error
- Rated 3 out of 5by dropbear jumpscare, a year agoIts good at changing colours but it causes a lot of lag. Personally, I would look for something else

I think there's same number of these warnings as activities @ issue .. it's annoying.
Previous versions were best extension so far. - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 13588161, a year agoIn the last few months Dark Reader has become unreliable. It won't sense the system mode and will remain in dark mode. Toggling it on/off or automation doesn't do anything, only deleting and re-installing. It used to be fine so this is very disappointing.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 14282866, a year agoWorks ok but not with scanning QR-code. Therefor you got only 3 stars. I got the QR-code in the color GREEN. My bank-app did not recognize the QR-code. Maybe an option to change your code when there is an QR-code to be scanned.
- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 18194190, a year agoThe functionality is great, but unfortunately it seems to slows down my browser, freeze Firefox & prevent it from shutting down properly, forcing me to restart my computer multiple times a day.
- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 15003607, a year agoit... works sometimes, but the speed penalty is huge!
- Rated 3 out of 5by dark_mode, a year agoFrustrated I can't work out how to blacklist/ whitelist sites, use sepia, or adjust any parameters at all!

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 14560662, 2 years agoIt works really well for most things, but if a website has a Disqus-style comment section it won't automatically turn it dark and I have to turn dark mode off and on for it to work. I have this problem on SBNation sites and on Angrymetalguy.com

- Rated 3 out of 5by Tiago Rangel, 2 years agoOnly works on some websites (btw, most don't), but does its job.
- Rated 3 out of 5by Amit B, 2 years agoI have been using this super-useful extension for over a year now. It mostly does its job perfectly, except that the automation feature (that enables/disables the dark mode as per predefined settings) has been broken for about 6 months now, without any action from the developer. So giving it a 3 star rating.
- Rated 3 out of 5by flap, 2 years agoWorked great previously, lately has issues with REALLY bad stuttering when scrolling through some web pages, to the point of unusability with the addon enabled.
On Firefox for Android - Rated 3 out of 5by Kristoforas, 2 years agoI found it resources consuming extension on my old Macbook though works as expected.
