Hide Youtube-Shorts by Vulpelo

by Marty, a year agoThe basic idea behind this extension is ingenious. Hiding the YouTube shorts on the YouTube start page and the search results in YouTube works perfectly. In addition, all shorts notifications are also hidden. Unfortunately, the Shorts section is still visible on all YouTube channels, both subscribed and non-subscribed channels.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 17798680, 4 days agoI used it for a whopping 1 minute, and after it got rid of those goddamn short without even the need to refresh my home page after installing it, I could not NOT give it 5 star. 10/10 it makes Youtube more usable.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 19483310, a month agoIt simply doesn't work at all on my Firefox. On github..com..Vulpelo..hide-youtube-shorts, there is no troubleshoot info. There, it also says 'setting a timeout to not allow checking for shorts more often than a specified time'. There is no such option, there are no options whatsoever in the extension.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Ritmos, 3 months agoI can finally search for something on YT without having to sift through 3 shorts for every actual video I see (this was especially important as YT doesn't remove shorts from the search tab even when you try to hide them elsewhere). Recommend.
