About this extension
Live Color Picker — for anyone who’s done screenshotting a site just to steal one hex code.
Open the popup, choose From page, and a live magnifier (loupe) tracks your pointer over a real capture of the tab. You see pixels enlarged before you commit—no more “close enough” greens. Pulling a tone from a reference image? From image samples a local file right inside the extension.
Built for speed and precision
• Pick colors from almost any page you browse—ideal for web design, UI/UX, CSS, and front-end workflows
• Hex, RGB, HSL, and CMYK always handy; tap a row to copy the format your stack expects
• Recent keeps your last grabs; Saved is your working color palette on tap
• Keyboard shortcut jumps straight into picking when you’re mid-flow
• Adjust loupe zoom and capture pacing so the lens feels snappy but stays stable
It’s the browser color picker / Chrome color picker extension that acts like a proper eyedropper tool for the open web: sample from the page, refine with the loupe, then paste hex codes or RGB values wherever you’re building.
Fewer wrong commits. Fewer “which blue was that?” Slides in next to your tab. Does one job—pick color from website or file—and does it like it means it.
