- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13428503, 7 years agoThis program is by the EFF so you know it has good hands behind it. Privacy badger hits what Adblock misses! It's a great companion app if you like Adblock plus. It also is an extra layer of protection if you prefer uBlock Origin that will protect you even if you need to temporarily turn your adblockers off.

- Rated 5 out of 5by bedwttr, 7 years agoI use this in Google-Chrome and Chromium. This version seems to have some options missing, <ie> can't archive or import saved configurations from other instances in other browsers.
An important feature to have! Can't give it more than 3 stars because of this as I have extensive blocklists exported from these other instances. I'm supposed to start over again?
**Update:**
Increased my rating. Indeed I now have that option since last time I wrote this review (Or I missed it entirely before). In any event thanks to the developer responding below, I have now got my data from the other devices that use privacy badger into this one. Loving the new Quantum btw.Developer response
posted 7 years agoIt sounds like you may be using an old version of Privacy Badger, but I am not sure ... The latest version of Privacy Badger for Firefox is functionally equivalent to the version for Chrome.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13414726, 7 years agoI'm giving 5 stars solely because it was made by EFF, and it does seem to deliver on what it promises, and it is a damn important thing to have, For me, unfortunately, I had to uninstall , because whenever I clicked on the icon, my browser would freeze, and I would get unresponsive script. Firefox always managed to recover gracefully, but still an inconvenience. Never had a similar problem while using ABP, what it seems to be based on, but I've since moved to uBlock Origin which also works flawlessly. Maybe my laptop is too outdated.for privacy badger...
