by User John Smith, 5 years agoThis extension achieves all that it says, and works perfectly; from detecting signup pages to syncing with the dashboard (as well as the ability to label accounts).
There is however a very small issue in terms of ease of use, that would be auto filling previously used alias' from the popup menu created by the extension. There is only an option to "Create a new alias", and adding a list of previously created alias' would be helpful. This is a minor issue, and not something that affects the performance of the service itself.
In addition, another feature for the future could be the possibility of listing all the websites the email is used on.
Keep up the great work! I'm always hyped when Mozilla releases a new service because it never disappoints.

posted 5 years agoThanks for the feedback. I believe https://github.com/mozilla/fx-private-relay/issues/263 matches your issue for filling in previously-created alias for a website?

- Rated 2 out of 5by Mark Phire, 9 days agoIt's something good to be able to block your e-mail address, but some websites give an error message that says "this domain is not allowed". But also others can use it for spam and block their e-mail address as well.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Błażej, 16 days agoMy mail uses my surname so I don't wanna use it when logging on some stuff that I don't know if I can trust, that's why I'm grateful mozilla for making this addon. It may not work on every site because sites like blocking mails other than Gmail, Outlook etc. but there's nothing we can do about that.
