by Ryan, 5 years agoI _want_ to like this, but there are some issues. In order for this service to be more useful than anonaddy, it needs to have the ability to create unlimited aliases with labels so that you can identify which are which.
Use Case: Using a different alias for each website so that you know which site leaked your email to other sites.
Being able to create an alias straight from the extension would be great as well. This would allow me to create an email alias with the firefox relay extension and the password with the lastpass extension. This pair would be a match made in heaven.
The ability to reply to emails that originated from Firefox Relay would also be a nice feature.
I'll be keeping an eye on this for future improvements. It definitely has potential.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Lilith D. Bracken, 12 days agoFirefox Relay is a really useful tool for protecting your email and privacy. It lets you create email aliases that forward to your real inbox, so you can sign up for websites without sharing your personal address. It helps reduce spam and keeps your real email safer from hackers. Simple to use, works automatically, and makes managing online accounts much more secure.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13690719, 2 months agoI've been using Mozilla and DuckDuckGo privacy services for years, and subscribing when that is available. Mozilla and DDG are both doing a great job protecting our privacy and our inboxes. A fan of both, I have to say that Mozilla have nailed this one - it is so simple, so transparent and so well-integrated into online workflows. I've seen the complaints of others - domain denied, no amazon login, ... - and can report that at least today these are no longer issues. Great job, Mozilla!!

- Rated 2 out of 5by majesticmini, 3 months agoI so favor how you mask users' email addresses, but when will you let us remove the command icon beside filling in any email address? The tab key is much easier when your command icon is not aligned with it. Please provide the option for a better rating.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Mark Phire, 3 months agoIt's something good to be able to block your e-mail address, but some websites give an error message that says "this domain is not allowed". But also others can use it for spam and block their e-mail address as well.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Błażej, 3 months agoMy mail uses my surname so I don't wanna use it when logging on some stuff that I don't know if I can trust, that's why I'm grateful mozilla for making this addon. It may not work on every site because sites like blocking mails other than Gmail, Outlook etc. but there's nothing we can do about that.
