Developer response
posted 5 years agoThis should already be supported, but it only works if the relevant setting is enabled (there are details in the addon description). - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15311978, 5 years agoThanks Richard for explaining the new needs for the perms. Love this addon for use in my regular SSH tunneling.
If I could request, it'd be pretty cool if the button was instead a dropdown rather than a toggle, to select from a list of user-configured proxies.Developer response
posted 5 years agoI'd rather keep configuration as simple as possible, and my time to work on this is fairly limited, so I don't plan to add support for multiple proxies. Anyone is welcome to fork the code and do that though (I think the main nuisance would be overhauling the settings UI). - Rated 5 out of 5by p1973, 5 years ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 11099038, 5 years agoRichard, thanks for explaining why the add-on needs this new permission.
Also, fuck Firefox for not being able to replace the previous permission by another one that is at least as explicit as the previous one ? - Rated 5 out of 5by rozwell, 5 years agoWhy does new version wants to "Access your data for all websites"? This makes no sense, what is the purpose of this??
EDIT: ok, got it, thanks for the info! :) - Rated 5 out of 5by Jawad Kasht, 5 years ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15103633, 5 years agoGreat job! If could add password and Username for HTTPS proxy, that will be better.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15041340, 6 years agoОчень полезное дополнение, но не работает на android. Я бы даже согласился использовать это дополнение без возможности отключить, чтобы весь трафик проходил через proxy.
- Rated 5 out of 5by incognito, 6 years agoCould not believe Firefox does not support SOCKS5 login and password auth. Thanks for this addon!

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox 14801872, 6 years agoMaybe it's better to make a mode on icon (p2.svg) with a different color, such as red, for example (or even to place in settings input for color). When I enable proxy, I forget to disable it too often. With a colored icon, there is more chance to detect its active state.
P.S. I already made it for myself but may be it will be usefull for anybody else.
P.P.S. Not much that helps, forgot turn off again. :) - Rated 4 out of 5by UdAvSt, 6 years agoУдобно и быстро, жаль, что только один прокси включает, хочется один для Socks5 другой для http, и одно нажатие - один прокси, второе - другой, третье, напрямую.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14771730, 6 years agoIn the past I've rated this proxy as a 5 star, now it's the worst of the worst. Proxy now reports who you are!!! WTF?
Developer response
posted 5 years agoI think that's likely to be due to your proxy server rather than the addon. - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 14758998, 6 years agoSometime I don't want to skip proxy for local network addresses (e.g. 192.168.1.x)
Developer response
posted 5 years agoI noticed a few requests for this, so have added an option to choose this behaviour. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14729643, 6 years agoPlease add the settings to the white list of addresses where the proxy will not work.
with the addition of ip or domain.
sorry this is Google Translate - Rated 4 out of 5by Albirew, 6 years agoWould it be possible to add a tickbox to allow proxy for local IP adresses like 192.168.x.y or 127.0.0.1? Many thanks.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 6597356, 6 years agoUpdate: Kaspersky has fixed the false detection.
Update: Kaspersky has confirmed the false detection and should fix it soon.
Kaspersky is reporting virus on version 1.1: HEUR: Trojan.Script.Generic (Trojan)
I have reported a false positive to Kaspersky. Hoping they can deal with it ASAP.Developer response
posted 6 years agoThat will be a false positive. This is a simple addon that does only what it says. Anyone can easily review the code by downloading the addon .xpi and changing the extension to .zip - it is not in any way obfuscated. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14674927, 6 years agoWorks on firefox for mac.
Ssh tunnel supported, neat. People that do not find it working have to learn how to setup things.
It is not really full of features but the base is there and it works. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14627649, 6 years agoInadequate features, thus unusable – only allows configuring one protocol (breaks mixed content and redirects) and does not support localhost (prevents usage with SSH tunnels)
Developer response
posted 6 years agoIt does support localhost, and the configured proxy is used for all protocols.
