Sounds like a sick robot.

You cannot turn the software on and off, as there is no control button. Even when you disable it in the addon page, every time you highlight a text it begins to read it. It lasted an hour on my laptop before being deleted. The voices are also unbearable.

It just works. And is really great ngl!

for some reason this add-on made some conflict with my microphone and everytime i used the mic for recording a youtube video or mic testing on the browser, there was loads of noise making the video unusable. I dont understand the conflict but i troubleshooted the issue and everything went back to normal after uninstalling this add-on. Id like to recieve some feedback from the developer. Why is this having this conflict? Yes i have everything latest version.

Quite handful however, keyboard shortcuts does not work at all. I've tried a few different ones and non of them activated text to speech. The only way working for me is to select the text and use context menu. Also the voices are very robotic but I assume it's just using those embedded in Windows so it's not the issue of the extension itself.

Unfortunately, this extension can not access Google Translate after a short time, because of the German voice. A error occurs. Please fix mit that we can use the Google translate voice again

The pause button doesn't work very well and getting it to read from anywhere but the start is difficult.

Es buenísimo este addon. Lee incluso con la pantalla apagada. Solo echo en falta marcadores, es decir, que si paro de leer que no tenga que empezar desde el principio. Por lo demás supercontento. Por cierto, lo uso en Android no en "desktop".

Ignore all the negative reviews. They are having issues with the voice being too robotic, but just fuck around in the settings for a minute and it will work great. You don't need to pay for premium voices, just make an account. It's awesome.
