by Firefox user 15218163, 7 months agoI couldn't find the options where can I customize the readmode pane. It would be better if there is a functionality to set custom colors and fonts.
edit: I figured out how to customize the pane, it is invisible at the bottom of read pane hover if any latecomer look after.

- Rated 2 out of 5by ChromeIsBetter, 6 months agoI've used many Reader View extensions with Chrome and recently came back to Mozilla. Though I'm not sure if it's because I'm using a fork vs Firefox, this is like the worst reader viewer I have found for performance.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Oscar, a year agoFor some reason I cannot access the styling options. Right clicking on the extensions icon for Reader does not produce any result. While I get a good clear reader view with the existing defaults it would be useful to know if there is any other way to access the styling options. Could another extension be blocking access?

- Rated 1 out of 5by Raymond, 3 years agoDoesn't work on a lot of blogs I view - only puts the visible portion of the page in reader view at a time, requiring me to exit reader view, scroll down, and enable it again.

Can't find advertised right-click options for customizing.
Can't return view to original.
I was mainly looking for an extension that wouldn't omit important data fields in news stories such as date and byline (which the FF native reader mode often omits). This one was worse that way. The headline was gone too.
The search continues... - Rated 3 out of 5by Vince Aggrippino, 4 years agoLooks nice, but in-document links don't work. That's a deal-breaker for me.

Would have liked to choose font, background colour.

Firefox 68.9.0 - Rated 4 out of 5by Terry Pigeon, 5 years agoThis is a great add-on. The only thing I would suggest is that when you want to go back to the regular screen after finishing reading that it could be done by using the escape button on the keyboard. As it is know if I click F11 which requires me to press the function key and then the F11 key it takes me out of full screen, but if I want to go out of the read mode it won't do it.
