Save Screenshot by Manuel Reimer

- Rated 5 out of 5by Ramon V M, 13 days agoThis add-on is perfect. Although Firefox already has a screenshot feature, this add-on is very straightforward and offers various but simple options. I have it set to take screenshots in JPG format at 90% quality, and every capture comes out with excellent image quality and without much file size. Yesterday, I also discovered an option that lets you add the date, hour, minutes, and seconds to the screenshots exactly how you want! Thank you! :D

posted 16 days agoAdd-ons usually can not interact with any Firefox built-in pages. This also includes the Firefox "Settings" page and the Firefox "Add-ons Manager" page. So nothing I can do here.- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 16315383, a month ago

posted 3 months agoA screenshot is a raster image. And for this PNG and JPEG are the formats to go.
For proper PDF archiving, I recommend you going over the print dialog or use the "Print Edit WE" extension.- Rated 5 out of 5by Norooz, 5 months agoSo helpful for firefox android! Please check it for security as well, Firefox team.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18179366, 5 months agoEs exactamente lo que estaba buscando. Funciona muy bien ya que guarda el sitio web tal cual como se en el navegador. Cuando hay partes de un sitio web que contiene un video, la captura puede tomar cualquier frame de éste, pero eso es un detalle. Muy buena la extensión.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Caia, 6 months agoSo far, so good. I don't know if it has a shorter way to capture the screen, but you can choose from full, viewport and selection in PNG or jpeg. And the best feature is it names the capture! So it saves me from putting each name. Yeah!!!!

- Rated 4 out of 5by CodeIcannot, 9 months agoSimple and effective. My only gripes would be that it doesn't work on all sites (for example, Letterboxd.com) and I sometimes wish for more robust controls, like the ability to screenshot from the current viewport upwards.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Tutenstein, a year agoI am currently using this on Firefox Nightly Android. I love it but it doesn't work properly on large pages as the dialogue box for download never appears and selection download doesn't work as well.
Developer response
posted a year agoThe dialogue box should open in a new empty view. So should not interfere with the page you are viewing. The selection for capturing a selected region was badly visible on "dark theme" websites. A fix for this is on its way.
BUT again: This is not the right place for this. In future, PLEASE use the provided GitHub link to create an issue. This also allows proper discussion. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13277273, a year ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by GuntherTheGoat, a year agoGood enough I put the effort into making an account to leave a 5 star review. This is the only one I could find that does what it says it does and does it properly.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Kris, a year agoThis works really well right out of the box. I configured mine to only use PNG and it's quick.. Naming convention is perfect.. I don't think it could get any better than this and should be added as a default plugin for FF. SICK AF!!!
- Rated 5 out of 5by Mirko, a year agoMarvellous. Tiny (38k), effective and easy to use extension. It's what I was looking for. No horrible effect of scrolling while taking screenshot, plenty of configurable options for all the needs (naming, quality, target dir). Absolutely perfect!
