- Rated 5 out of 5by feeleyyyy, 10 months agoTwitch is now putting a background process that uses 95% of your RAM if you're using this, but very inconsistently. Process remains after Twitch is closed, mine uses 24GB of ram. fucking pathetic company.

posted 10 months agoHmm this is weird, would you mind opening a GitHub issue with more details about that process? I want to make sure this isn't a memory leak caused by the extension - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 15526997, a year ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Luunii, a year ago
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 16430026, a year agoTrying this addon currently, and even when it is the only extention/addon running, it causes constant buffering on twitch, every 5-10 seconds for anywhere up to 30s.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18194679, a year agoThis add-on doesn't work. When you join the Discord for help the creator and users encourage you to pay for proxy to get an add-free experience therefore this add-on is scammy and doesnt work "out of the box".
Developer response
posted a year agoIf you want a Twitch ad blocker without downtime, please use a script like VAFT. Proxy solutions require servers in ad-free countries to work. These can become overloaded at peak hours or experience downtime. This is why we suggest to users wanting to use a stable proxy solution (for full stream quality during ads or if scripts don't work for them) to either donate and have access to zGato-maintained proxies or get and maintain their own proxy. - Rated 5 out of 5by Ethan, a year ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by Kyle, a year agoMostly works perfectly, and better than before. No longer chugs or downgrades video quality when ads are supposed to play, they're just no longer there and the player quality remains whatever you were watching while the ad plays.
Makes Twitch tolerable.
