posted 19 hours agoyay! :) let's work on something more important too, for example:
1. https://github.com/search?q=disabilities&type=repositories&s=stars&o=desc
-> https://github.com/cboard-org/cboard/issues/1677
2. https://github.com/code-charity/Bulk-Contributor and managing ImprovedTube, i think of something similar for all websites, which already is worked on my many people, yet nobody organizes/collects it: https://github.com/code-charity/crowd-fixes
https://github.com/code-charity/youtube/discussions/1881 - Rated 5 out of 5by Zerova, 6 days agoAmazing, I do have some recommendations tho, I think it'd be nice if you could add custom images as a background (aka primary color) for the custom style, or videos that loop, and be able to change the brightness and blurriness of it :3 (edit; also, a keyboard shortcut for the scroll to top feature would be nice, and being able to change the opacity of the button would be cool too!)
{EDIT 3 (new)} Ok, I 100% didn't explain well, sorry. What I meant was for a custom image as a background, aka, if you're using youtube's dark mode, you could change the dark grey background to your own image on your pc. What I meant by video wasn't youtube videos, I meant it as the same reason for the image as a background, but instead of an image on your pc, it's a video on your pc. The darkness/blurriness was for the background image/video (what I just mentioned in this edit) since, if the image/video is bright at all, it'll look weird, and won't work well, blurriness does the same thing, but keeping it bright still. Hopefully I explained this better, idk how to program, I'm just suggesting stuff that I think is cool.
[{EDIT 2 (old)}]; (there's no way to respond to developer responses for some reason, so I'll just do this instead) I found that ctrl + up arrow is a scroll to top keybind. And, I meant the blurriness/brightness of the image specifically, not night mode/schedule. Last thing, I have no idea what you meant when you said "Loop: found it at player: buttons though? we also prepared a looper extension and can integrate this. (github link)" Maybe I'm just stupid, but I have genuinely no clue what this is supposed to mean.Developer response
posted 4 days agoOhh my bad. You used comma not dot or semicolon & i knew Firefox featured us attracting new users. (While existing users or those searching something very specific used to be more likely to "nerd" about different/specific features all at once)
Check: https://github.com/code-charity/youtube/issues/2442
The shortcut/hotkeys to scroll to the top or the end are called "home" & "end" (on any keyboard.) - However that's not a bad point at all. We might make a shortcuts extension for every website too. And then first of all, we should show users a nice "cheat-sheet" of important existing but not popular ones. I learned CTRL+L very late.

Thanks! Sounds like you want to consider joining us on github. I agree in the background
image. Brightness: we also have a night mode/schedule (see top right).
Edit:
Loop: Did you find the repeat button at "player: buttons" ? ( we also prepared a looper-extension and want to integrate this. (Check the 4th items in this list: https://github.com/code-charity/youtube/issues/1445 )
Brightness of the video: Other extensions can do this but i dont see why, let alone blurriness? Similarily you can use the feature "general: Dim Youtube's Pages, except what I mouse-over!" or "player:buttons:cinema mode" - Rated 1 out of 5by Paul, 8 days ago

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13022326, 12 days agoGood and solve my need to have video fit to window, but every time when i open youtube link in new tab , the 'Fit to window' button will disappear. I have to open the menu again, slide the 'Fit to window' off and on to have it show again. Hope the extension author can correct this

- Rated 2 out of 5by frikdt, 19 days agoFor an award-winning Firefox-supported extension I find documentation on the provided functionality sorely lacking. I installed this mainly for the blocking feature, hoping to replace the retarded native youtube algorithm. After a frustrating hour or two, unable to figure out how the blocklist is supposed to work, checking the extension documentation, their home (github) page, and even returning to this installation page, I'm giving up.

posted 14 days agohi! :) yes! this has been an very special uphill race for 11.5 years - and no time to document enough (but you can can help us.) And blocklist appears in the lastest video review from a popular channel as stated in our wiki. You can enable it and then see a new block button on thumbnails and on channel pages. And more that you might suggest (maybe also a keyboard short cut to block the current channel?) - As a maintainer i care for unique features the most that). (aand luckily the blocklist feature got a whole overhaul / rewrite with these month and we can upload another update for it in a few days. (and you could help test that one already). posted 14 days agohi! :) you sound like 4.9 stars, given our whole story, many features and nothing better around, (3 is bad, can decrease usage)- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 17151624, 24 days ago
