- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 12124788, 9 months agoAwesome Add-on. I've been using this add-on for 6 to 8 years. I have somewhere around half a million watched videos in my database.
I search for gymnastics videos on YouTube. This add-on really helps me avoid wasting time on videos I've already seen. Your watch history on YT is limited to a maximum of 5,000 videos. This means YT only remembers your 5,000 most recently watched videos, everything older than that is forgotten.
It takes me less than 2 months to add 5,000 YT videos to my watch history.
With this add-on, there is no apparent limit to the size of your history.
I have videos in my history dating back, I believe, 8 years ago. This add-on does not forget.
It's very handy. It's a big time saver for me because I am probably addicted to finding the latest YouTube gymnastics videos with girls doing gymnastics in their panties.
Once I view a video to see if it should be downloaded or if it's boring, I don't want to waste time viewing it ever again.
I used to have the most viewed playlist on YouTube. Until YT deleted it in 2022. At the time of deletion, my playlist, called "cool" had about 120 million views. I had been adding every video I downloaded since 2014 to "cool".
Then all of the sudden, after 8 years, YT deleted it and gave my channel it's first and only strike. I've never uploaded a video or left any comments in the entire history of my channel.
The weirdest thing happened after my playlist was deleted. If you search on YouTubes website, for my channel name, you will see some of the videos that I have recently downloaded in your search results. It doesn't work as well for me as it does for other people. I mostly see the videos I have already found using my other methods but for everyone else, they get to see a portion of the videos that I have recently found.
Considering that my old, deleted playlist had 120 million views in 8 years, there are hundreds, maybe thousands of people that are using this bizarre trick to find great videos to download before YT removes them for TOS.
Hard to believe huh? Try it for yourself. Searching for my channel name works best on YouTubeDOTcom to find actual videos (not that you would be interested in finding these videos). Searching for my channel name on bingDOTcom will autocomplete many interesting suggestions. However bing apparently doesn't understand this relationship and therefore bing doesn't return the correct type of videos. The auto complete is what's interesting on bing.
One has to wonder why searching my channel name on YT would return gymnastics videos. It is questionable for certain and bizarre, no doubt.
