- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14109866, 7 years agoI've been sticking with Firefox 56 until now because I couldn't live without the Panorama experience. Even though it's "Totally not Panorama", it seemed like it was close enough to bite the bullet and upgrade to 60.
I was confused about the tab hiding not working for a while, but once I'd read:
"Go to about:config and set extensions.webextensions.tabhide.enabled to true, then restart your browser."
in the developer's response to another review, life was suddenly good again.
Thank you so much for this!! - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 11702340, 7 years agoThis is almost perfect except it opens in a tab, doesn't close itself when done, and it doesn't hide the tabs from other groups. The whole point is to only see the tabs you want to see.
- Rated 5 out of 5by baltimore-recyclers, 7 years agoExcellent! I look forward to updates.
I was stuck on Firefox v52esr, primarily because of Tab Groups. Each time I looked at upgrading, I could NOT find a suitable replacement.
Thanks, very much for developing this add-on.
New note: I just looked at your website nyordanov.com, and I am surprised that there is no mention of this add-on. - Rated 3 out of 5by Chnutz, 7 years agoA nice alternative for Tab Groups, Thank you for it!
But with some little Bugs. From time to time there's some unexpected behaviour:
- All Tabs are in one group, all other groups are gone. Or
- All groups are still there but the tabs are gathered in one group (maybe the last that was opened). Or
- The last letter of every group name is gone.
Or a combination.
I'm curious about what happend next ;-) - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14026964, 7 years agoYeay! Works great. Much <3 for pinned tab support and shortcut!

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13744103, 7 years agoThis has made Firefox Quantum usable again! Great add-on.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Heracles, 7 years agoAfter months of frustration, and a great effort from Mozilla devs on tab hiding, comes a great plugin for what seems to be the most sought after feature of the old Firefox. It has some quirks here and there, but the basics are there, and seem to be working fine!
Spread the news, it's back! - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 12337675, 7 years agoBest replace for native tabs groups in FF. BUT have a fatal bug - does not always save pinnet tabs when you open a new group.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13881962, 7 years agoAn amazing job on the extension, but I don't know why my named and sorted groups keep randomly resetting, I am stuck with one dafault group tab and i have to reorganize everything from the start, why keeps this happening??? So annoying, but same thing was happening with photodiode's ext too.

posted 7 years agoSession persistence is handled by the browser. Try using the latest beta. - Rated 5 out of 5by zeeonmozilla, 7 years agoSo far, works great!
Would love to be able to keep pinned tabs in their respective groups though - is that possible?
And a way to have the start of the name of the group you're in on the toolbar icon would be amazing. - Rated 4 out of 5by TyDraniu, 7 years ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by Patrick Mangou, 7 years agoI have been using this extension for several days now, closed and re-opened FF (Developer's Edition) several times. It works perfectly and it is the best replacement I found for Tab Groups so far.
A great point: only the active tab loads in a given group, which saves RAM. So, as I used to do with Tab Groups, when FF takes too much RAM, I just close the program and re-open it.
Small things to improve:
-tabs in each group are not always shown in their actual order
-it would be nice to be able to give a group a specific name - Rated 5 out of 5by remasuri, 7 years agoThis is my first review I ever made for an addon because I just wanted to say Thank You so much! I was missing tab groups so much and wasnt really liking the alternatives so far but yours is the first one that really gives me the experience I was missing on FF :)
- Rated 5 out of 5by Lmar, 7 years agoThank you. Please keep it simple, don't overload features like other authors do. Ctrl+e and group rename didn't work for me
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 10936178, 7 years agoGreat start.
Unfortunately, closing a tab group sometimes closes my pinned tabs as well. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13865631, 7 years agoMy only issue is ctrl+e isn't opening the groups on either of my windows browsers. It works in my ubuntu firefox though. Otherwise it's fantastic.

I've added an option for setting a keyboard shortcut in v0.0.12. However, the necessary API is only implemented in Firefox 60, so you will need to update to the beta before you can use the new option.
You can only use shortcuts which are not used by the browser - Ctrl+Shift+E is already taken, and it seems that Ctrl+E also doesn't work for Windows users. - Rated 5 out of 5by Mnh0419, 7 years agoNice to see old tabgroup comes back!
This is the addon that I really missed since firefox 57.
Keep working!! - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13863366, 7 years ago
