About this extension
This is intended to be as close as possible to the functionality of BBCodeXtra, which was not migrated to Quantum.
There is only 1 top level menu because of the limitations of Webextensions, with what were the top level menus below it.
The latest version adds a symbol submenu, and the ability to work with rich text elements on https:// pages.
Note that the icons bbcwbx-menu.svg, bbcwbx.png, and bbcwbx.svg are NOT covered by the FOSS MIT license, they are © 2019 Charles E. Saroff [w4t3rf1r3] and licensed for use in this program.
Check out his Deviant Art to contact him or to get license details before using on any fork or for any other purpose.
Source code is available from its Github Page.
Update, April 19, 2021:
Corrected errors in localizations.
Update, December 4, 2020:
Fixed the Google Fix, Which Broke on Other Websites
Blogspot, and Google, are honking me off now.
Update, November 29, 2020:
I have updated bbCodeWebEx to address changes in Google's updated Blogspot Editor that occurred in October.
I have also added the following:
Update, 8 July, 2022:
I am planning to add the Ruble symbol "₽" (Dec: 8381; Hex: 20BD HTML: ₽) and the diameter symbol "⌀" (Dec: 8960; Hex: 2300 HTML: ⌀) in the near future, but first I have to determine if the move to Manifest V3 will require a rewrite.
If you want any symbols added, please post them to me in the reviews or on the support page. Note that it has to be Unicode/UT 8, and I want a description in English, along with the decimal, hexadecimal, and HTML codes if you can.
Note that the discussion board uses an insecure connection, HTTP instead of HTTPS, because it the host charges for the latter.

- Reduced the scope of the context menu, so that it will only show up where it can do something.

The gitHub for the project contains details, like a spreadsheet I used for tracking menus and localizations that are not in the XPI.
This is some seriously FUGLY code, it's my first JavaScript programming ever.
I believe that this is the first addon for Firefox that includes a Geas/Curse. (It is in the readme, and has no legal meaning.)
You can avoid this by going outside and playing every now and again.
