Since the July 25th 2023 update it no longer lets you save your own background in Firefox Private Browsing. Would you please fix this. Using Firefox 115.0.2 .
To improve performance and compatibility for local backgrounds, we migrated to another storage system (indexedDB). We didn't consider that because of Firefox privacy design, files are not saved in this storage in Private Browsing.
Unfortunately, this is not something we can fix :(
The closest you could get to have your own backgrounds is by using a custom collection with unsplash: https://bonjourr.fr/docs/overview/#backgrounds
