- Rated 5 out of 5by Monaxi, a year agoBasicaly very good looking Start Page but customization is very limited, i mean you u can probably do whatever you want with coding but im not that much into these things, maybe ill try something later. We should be able to move segments freely and able to change background of the bookmarks icon. Also small photo editor mostly cropping and maybe something else for customizing icons from url would be handy but not much needed im probably just stupid and writing this comment I realized that u can just use ur own software then upload it to pinterest and done heh. Have a nice day :P Almost forgot, customization also lacks of comic sans font pls fix

- Rated 5 out of 5by dtaylor887, 2 years agoSince the July 25th 2023 update it no longer lets you save your own background in Firefox Private Browsing. Would you please fix this. Using Firefox 115.0.2 .

posted 2 years agoHello dtaylor !
To improve performance and compatibility for local backgrounds, we migrated to another storage system (indexedDB). We didn't consider that because of Firefox privacy design, files are not saved in this storage in Private Browsing.
Unfortunately, this is not something we can fix :(
The closest you could get to have your own backgrounds is by using a custom collection with unsplash: https://bonjourr.fr/docs/overview/#backgrounds
