hey, thanks for the review: please note that hiding tabs is already on the way to be implemented by mozilla (see linked bugzilla issue). This is as well why for the time being, this extension is marked as "experimental".

You can already run this extension with the experiment referenced in the bugzilla bug and hiding / showing tabs will already work (that's how I currently run conex) -- however: this is pretty experimental (instructions are on the conex github page).

I think the migration phase for the new extension will be annoying but in the end we will have a better Firefox.
