- Rated 2 out of 5by Fledrox, a month agohas been getting extremely laggy recently, even in filter / filter+ mode. Static mode seems fluid but it's a subpar look for websites.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Craig, a month agoPerformance was always icky on Firefox, but recently its just horrible, unusable on low end devices and frequently pushes hardware temps up (the way i even noticed it on main powerful pc, its not felt but you could see high cpu use by stats)

last update broke something - it slows down the browser and firefox asks if i want to stop this extension - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13848868, 2 months agoI've been using Dark Reader for years, but now it slows down and even hangs my browser. When I use Firefox Settings to set backgrounds to black, I lose highlighting effects. Absence of a working dark mode could cause me to abandon Firefox. :-(
- Rated 5 out of 5by Diana Mcbride, 2 months agoOne of the best extensions I've installed. Simple, effective, and doesn't bloat the browser at all.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Alphonse, 2 months agoEfficiently renders webpages as dark by altering elements directly (by default). Very effective at eliminating bright backgrounds no matter the source. Interface is a bit clunky with four subpages to sift through, and verbiage a bit confusing. Can rarely unintentionally hide elements from sight, so double-check a page with it disabled in case anything is missing.

rate: a must have daily browsing tool for dark mode users - Rated 5 out of 5by VOIIIXI, 2 months agoThe best dark mode add-on there is and nothing else comes close, visually it's brilliant! it dynamically and intelligently changes any page to look great depending on the different sites. I haven't seen one site that looks bad with it. The only problem is the performance hit on certain sites where it causes some slow downs, But it's so good that I don't really mind it that much.
