- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 17897208, 13 days agoBetter than nothing; cannot block the "Created using AI tools" declaration.
- Rated 4 out of 5by PuppyLuver256, 10 months agoWorked great while it lasted. Unfortunately this not being updated in over two years really shows, as I've noticed today that this extension no longer works at all. I tried to add a tag to the filters to test it, a filter that I was sure I already had in my list, and sure enough it said it was a duplicate and did not create the filter while still allowing the deviation in question to be fully displayed. Rating three rather than anything lower for the extension's historical effectiveness and ease of use.
UPDATE 1-19-24: Works perfectly fine once again, thanks for the update! Bumping my rating up accordingly. - Rated 1 out of 5by Christina, a year agoIt is a lifesaver for letting me block the horrible things people post (since the site is run by nitwits who put a cap on how many people you can block normally).
Unfortunately, today it seemed to delete all the blocked users and keywords I had for seemingly no reason, so I have to start over. Guess I should start backing up my list with the export feature. - Rated 5 out of 5by Vortical, 2 years ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Juserdigg, 3 years agoThankyou so much! This addon is an essential given the state of deviantart as it is now.
- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 15991902, 4 years agoThis is great for filtering out all that disgusting fetish stuff out of DA. It could probably be better optimized, however. I only have massive memory jumps when I have 2-3 tabs of DA open, and only with this extension.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14226170, 5 years agoSuper useful for this trash of a website, but could you move the hide button to the Upper right than the Upper Left? It's overlapping with the remove notification button in Eclipse.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Platina, 5 years agoThis addon is truly a lifesaver from all the disgusting fetish art that's taken over DeviantArt (some people don't know how to use the Mature Content filter). My only concern at this time is whether or not this will be updated to use with the upcoming Eclipse feature that will be forced onto the site next month, as this DeviantArt Filter currently doesn't work when switched over.

posted 5 years agoThanks for the review. I am actively working on a new version that supports Eclipse; it is currently available as an Alpha build on the GitHub page (https://github.com/rthaut/deviantART-Filter/releases) if you are interested. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13618642, 5 years ago

- Rated 2 out of 5by Lynx, 6 years agoSometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I've had submissions showing when the submission had multiple tags that I put on my filter list.
- Rated 3 out of 5by Poochika278, 6 years agoIt works for when you're browsing anywhere on the site EXCEPT for when you're looking at notifications. When a user has something posted to a group, it'll still show there.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 14462452, 6 years agoIt doesn't always work. Somewhere about offset 500, it doesn't detect tags in some bad pictures.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 14195298, 6 years agoThis addon is good at hiding some stuff but is ultimately mediocre. It does not seem to hide categories that I have set to be filtered out, but tags are mostly okay. What is there to do to make the categories be hidden like I have set them to be?
- Rated 5 out of 5by Tsiox, 6 years agoI cannot use dA without this script, thank you for taking your time making this and keeping it working.
I can hide all the stuff I dislike or even be disgusted about.
On the front page of popular 24 hrs I end up hiding 70% of the stuff, it's kinda sad that these stuff get noticed.
I totally recommend this script to everyone that use dA.

Works well, and has saved many times my eyes on deviantart. Thank you for this add on, it's pretty cool.
Edit: it would be cool to be able to put regex for tags. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14087027, 6 years agoThis addon sucks. It does not do what it claims to do. When hiding a piece of art on the website by clicking the X in the top left of a thumbnail, it does not hide only that picture, but EVERY thumbnail on the website. Also, the filters do not work at all, many times I have found photos that have tags that I have clearly set a filter for, and on top of that, there are still photos from entire categories that I have blocked! This is a garbage addon. Fix it and make it do what it is supposed to, which is ACTUALLY block things. Note: These problems are ones that I have found using Mozilla Firefox.

posted 6 years agoThe issues you are encountering are due to changes to the DeviantArt site. Unfortunately, these changes are only available to Beta Testers, and only members with paid subscriptions can access the Beta program. I have released version 5.0.2 which should fix the issue, but, if not, you would need to opt out of the Beta program. - Rated 4 out of 5by Karma, 7 years agoWorks great for filtering porn without turning off the very limited "mature filter". Thank you for making this. Note: It does not work with the new "Eclipse" layout.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13691631, 7 years agoI just made a firefox account to thank you for this add-on! It works perfectly and the design fits deviantart's interface so well you barely notice it's there. Absolutely love it, i can't thank you enough. This is exactly what i was looking for!
