- Rated 5 out of 5by ykzarb, 6 years agoI'm thrilled to say that, to date, this works exactly as described--including Youtube videos. What a relief. While it would be very nice to have a whitelist, I have not found it too distracting to have to click once to get a video started.
- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 14590441, 6 years agoI actually love your addon (I should have rated it 5 stars). The problem I have is that it's actually breaking a site that I go to heavily -- (https://www.wowhead.com). I've unchecked the site from the icon, yet the settings information does not list that the site was excluded. Actually I can't find a way to manually exclude (type in the actual url of the site) this addon from working on a particular site. This addon works like a dream to prevent sites that I visit from auto loading video. I just wish that I could keep it from working on other sites that I visit. (ie the check - uncheck boxes are not working) {{{Win 10, Firefox 64.0.2}}}
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13958285, 6 years agoIt conflicts with the PayU form. When you try to enter anything, the form disappears. Because I have 30 plugins, finding a guilty little pissed off. I've lost a lot of time. And the plugin works on average, especially on YouTube. Thank you, but no longer ...
- Rated 2 out of 5by Tiffin, 6 years agoThis add-on only half works. It works for other sites that use HTML5 video but NOT YouTube.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14306928, 6 years agoI installed DHA but it does not stop ANNOYING HTML5 videos on Yahoo from auto starting!

- Rated 4 out of 5by Dhawal, 6 years agoAdd on is working great, however it would be better if the videos(particularly embedded youtube ones) don't buffer in background.
- Rated 1 out of 5by pineybreeze, 6 years agoThis plugin not only didn't work for me, it interfered with the functioning of my password manager (LastPass) so that I wasn't able to log into it, or to access remembered passwords for sites where the password screen was separate from the user ID screen. I am on Windows 7, and I am running a lot of other FireFox extensions.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14436305, 6 years agoWORKS FINE in Firefox on my Win10 computer and in Firefox Beta on my LG Android phone. I don't know why people give it such a bad rating.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14423036, 6 years agoas of 11/12/18 the addon does not work. If your on the latest version of FF, best option is to go to about:config, at the top search for autop, find media.autoplay.default, and change from 0 to 1 by right clicking the entry, and choose modify. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14151745, 6 years agoFINALLY this worked. The prior attempts to disable website audio autoplay via about:config settings only worked on my devices, but not my desktop. This plugin did the trick and eliminating a regular source of irritation. Thanks, Afnan!

in about:config you can set media.autoplay.default to 1 in order to block automatic playback on all pages or set it to 2 to decide on a per domain basis. - Rated 1 out of 5by Stefaan, 6 years agoWorked for a few days, now doesn't do anything anymore. Became useless.
