by Firefox user 13115620, 8 years agoDisconnect always used to block ads. Then a year or so ago it stopped working with Firefox. After a very long period of time it re-appeared, fixed. Trouble is now it lets ads through when a page loads, but when the page is refreshed the ads disappear. So I don't know whether it's stopping sites tracking me, which I guess is its core purpose.
Edit (Oct 29): Tried re-installing, didn't fix it.
March 15, 2018: Any progress on a fix for this? I've been very patient.

Developer response
posted 8 years agoThank you for sharing your experience, and that is very strange. While our extension does not block all ads, it is designed to block those that are privacy invasive. If you haven't, you may want to uninstall then reinstall the extension to be sure it's properly set up since you've had trouble with the extension previously as well.

- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 19112309, 24 days agoUsed to work well. Now it crashes most secure logins (e.g.; secure dot verizon dot com /signin) and redirects to a json error page. When attempting to report broken sites, the "Submit" button just says "Invalid URL." There doesn't appear to be any way to inform the developer except by leaving a bad review, as their bug reporting has the same problem.
