About this extension
This extension helps users and organizations understand how various SaaS applications are used throughout the day by tracking in-browser activity in a privacy-conscious manner. By collecting engagement data, the extension is able to calculate a user’s utility or productivity score for each SaaS application, enabling smarter decisions around tool adoption, usage efficiency, and cost optimization.

What It Does

Tracks user activity across tabs and web applications.

Identifies which SaaS platforms are most used.

Monitors interaction frequency and active usage duration.

Provides insight into productivity trends over time.

Helps teams quantify the ROI of the tools they use.

How It Works

Once installed, the extension runs in the background and monitors browser activity such as:

URL visits

Active tab time

Interaction events (clicks, form submissions, etc.)

This data is securely collected and analyzed to determine how much utility the user derives from each SaaS tool (e.g., productivity apps, CRMs, collaboration platforms). The insights can then be used for self-reflection, team performance optimization, or software budget reviews.

Privacy & Security

We take user privacy seriously:

No keystrokes, passwords, or sensitive data is collected.

All tracked data is limited to domain-level insights and activity duration.

Data transmission is encrypted and can be anonymized depending on deployment settings.

Users can pause or disable tracking at any time.

Ideal Use Cases

Individuals looking to improve productivity.

Startups and teams auditing tool usage across departments.

SaaS companies measuring internal engagement with their own tools.

Operations teams evaluating tool effectiveness across the company.

Permissions

The extension requires permission to read browsing data such as:

Active tab URLs

Tab switching events
These permissions are solely used for analytics and never for intrusive monitoring.
