- Rated 5 out of 5by clement_roblot, 25 days agoIt is a bit of a faff to find a config that works, but then it does and it is great. Read the instructions on the side, my main issue was that the Download Path must have a slash at the end but NOT at the beginning.
Developer response
posted 6 days agoIt is because, initially I intended for user to be able to change the filename which is what not having a slash at the end is essentially doing at the moment. I have not tested this feature enough and hence excluded it from the explanation for the time being. - Rated 3 out of 5by odradek, a month agoIt works, though sometimes I have to click and download a file several times before it takes any action. And please---there must be a way to turn off the notification beep.

posted a month agoI'll try investigating this issue and I'll move notifications into toast popups next update. - Rated 5 out of 5by joincatman, a month agoWith this change it works on linux. Is there a github repo?
let filename = "";
if(navigator.appVersion.indexOf("Win") != -1){
filename = download.filename.split("\\").pop();
} else{
filename = download.filename.split("/").pop();
} - Rated 2 out of 5by Zoshiao, 5 months agoI love the idea and i desperately need this for my hoarding habits, but as it stands i CAN NOT get it working, sometimes it just downloads DLSorter.json, other times i see the "your downloaded file has been moved" but then its not in the requested directory, its still a beta i know and I'd love to preach this as the holy download organizer for Firefox, but at this stage? it needs some major work

posted 4 months agoYeah I've had little time to work on it recently, but I'll see if I can improve it soon. - Rated 5 out of 5by eutow_, 6 months ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by Nobody, 6 months agoThis is probably the only Firefox extension that can automatically sort downloads based on url/website/host. It's RegExp Download extension equivalent in Chrome. I can even directly copy the rules from that extension to this one to make it works. If you dont know how to use regex rule you can check it out there too.
It deserved way more than 1 star, which I dont understand why someone rated it so. It works like a charm so take my 5 stars:) - Rated 1 out of 5by zzmagia, 8 months ago
