- Rated 4 out of 5by whocares, 5 years agoEdit: New version 30 september 2019 (4.1.2) : now is good, is improved with new features asked and bug fixes, like the sound and the easy delete shortcut to delete completed downloads, furthermore i see a whole new speed improvements. Thank you.
Now i think you have forgotten a feature: the "Empty the download files list (of downloaded files, green color) when the main window is closed" . ------------------
Old comment:
This is not good as 3.0.8 dta! version in seamonkey, this has limitations, the download window is worse ( WebExtensions limitations i guess ). This has fewer options and features. Try the 3.0.8 version of dta! in seamonkey browser (2.49.5 last version of seamonkey) , it 's the old and best dta! there .
In this new version (4.0.11 ) the download window uses the download system of firefox quantum , try to download many .jpg little/medium files together , 4 files per time, it is too slow and it takes too many resources until almost a browser crash! and has many slowdown even with a fast 4 core cpus and 16gb ram .... THe same situations when you try to cancel or remove all the downloaded files in the log window, i didn't saw an option to remove them automatically and it takes too many resources. there isn't a sound when the download completes either too .. I loved dta! for years but this is new version has many problems, if will not be resolved i 'll continue to use the old version in seamonkey. sorry - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 12904425, 5 years ago

I have one question: How to change the download location? I dindt find anything
Regards!Developer response
posted 5 years agoYou cannot change the location, that is a limitation of WebExtensions.
You can however create sub-folders in the downloads directory using the mask.

posted 5 years agoSo we can remove our own tabs from it. We do not snoop, let alone send your history around. The extension is open source and even the packaged xpi you can download here is not minified and can be checked - Rated 5 out of 5by theonlyBuster, 5 years agoNever knew how great this add-on truly was until I no longer had access to it. Boy am I happy it came back! The interface is simple and straightforward to use. Most of the features and options are obvious. In short, the ease of use is what makes this app a huge winner when compared to others.
So happy you're back. I'll be contributing very soon. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15266076, 5 years agoFINALLY BACK! I appreciated this software, and wished ever since FF Quantum came out that DTA would work. So happy to see it installed this morning when I fired up FF. The alternatives were junky. This is the real deal!

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15262294, 5 years agoSo glad to see this return. It's been working as good as always.
The only things I've found myself wishing I could do is have completed downloads automatically cleared from the manager and being able to choose where downloads go.
I sent a little contribution, too. - Rated 5 out of 5by georg, 5 years ago
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13691947, 5 years agoIst ist wieder da, fast genau so gut wie früher.

"dta/*y**m*/*name*.*ext*" was dann in etwa "Downloads/dta/201909/file.name" speichert. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15261303, 5 years ago
