The developer tries hard to keep up with YouTube's constantly-changing code, (designed to thwart downloader software)! I have used this add-on for Firefox for several years and it has always been very reliable and works exactly as it should. there are regular updates provided to allow for continued use.

I tried several plugins and this is the best one by far. I frequently download videos with 720K quality. It works every time, no issues whatsoever.
