Good replacement for EdgeWise, but there is a problem with mouse scrolls.
If the page displayed is tall enough the scrolling input (on the left bar of course) just scrolls the page, instead of changing tab as I set it up to ; it only works correctly on pages that can't be scrolled. Maybe would it be possible to intercept the command earlier than it does now ? Or is it a limitation because of Web Extensions ?
Edit : Alright, I'll get more into details then. I set up EdgeWare to change tabs with mouse wheel rolls, left tab for upward roll and right tab for downward roll.
Let's take youtube homepage, a page that's too tall to fit the screen. When I roll the wheel with the mouse on the left edge (normal usage that is) of the window, instead of changing tabs the page just scrolls up and down just like the addon wasn't there.
It only works well on pages that don't exceed the window height, a picture for example. Other controls than wheel rolls, like buttons, work fine though, even on such tall pages.
I use it on Firefox nightly btw. I have other extensions but this is one of the first ones I installed and it always behaved this way.
I hope I've made myself clear now, and thank you for the reply ! (couldn't find your email, that's why I just edited this review)Developer response
posted 7 years agoI don't fully understand the problem: Scroll bar is usually on the right.
Please email with specific url that fails, any other extensions you are using, current FF version number, and anything else you think is important.
Sorry for delay, was 'off-grid' for a while.

Once again, I don't fully understand what you are doing:
You say "I set up EdgeWare to change tabs with mouse wheel rolls, left tab for upward roll and right tab for downward roll."
What does this mean? Edgeware out-of-the-box scrolls through tabs with the mouse wheel (when the cursor is in the left click-field). I don't get what you've 'set'. Are you getting the "press" cursor icon when in the click-field? - Rated 5 out of 5by Dadewis, 7 years ago

- Rated 4 out of 5by Stock, 7 years agoIf the bookmarks sidebar is active, EdgeWare does not work, because the action area is on the right side of the bookmarks sidebar and almost impossible to hit.
Reproduction steps:
1. Activate bookmarks toolbar with Ctrl+B
2. Go crazy trying to find the action area
To clarify, I've taken a screenshot:

If the action area is on the left edge of the screen, I can hit it with blind eyes.
The point of MileWideBack/EdgeWise/EdgeWare is to navigate without having to divert attention to a tiny back-button or trying to hit the action area - I just drag my mouse to the left border of the screen & click.
Another bug: For some reason, EdgeWare does not work on addons.mozilla.orgDeveloper response
posted 7 years ago1. Until modified, you can move the Sidebar to the right, by clicking the Sidebar Title / Move Sidebar to the Right
2. Feature: Mozilla doesn't allow WebExtensions to load on many pages, some of which are *.mozilla.*. Go figure. - Rated 5 out of 5by Tulirebane, 7 years agoGreat WE alternative to EdgeWise, though I really miss the back/forward history menu.
Since WebExtensions can access user history, could you please add this feature again?
Edit: thanks, but it shows all items instead of current tab's only.Developer response
posted 7 years agoThanks for the positive review.
Latest version now contains EdgeWare Action "History Pages" for this feature.
