About this extension

In any text field of any website, you can type : to see a list of suggested emoji that will be updated as you type. Use the arrow keys to navigate and enter to insert the selected emoji in the text field.

When the selector doesn't appear, you can still use the Ctrl + , shortuct to quickly copy and paste an emoji.

Roadmap :

A way to disable the addon on selected websites
Implement some user preference options
An extended support for various websites with participating development
Show most used emojis by default (right after typing : )
Any wanted feature if you ask me 🙂

Please report any issue, bug or feature request on GitHub, or by sending me an e-mail at vivien@netc.fr.

Known limitations : Some websites doesn't use standard text field for writing text, making it impossible for the extension to work correctly.
The 'handler-based' architecture is aiming to make it easy to provide a solution, so these kind of website will be supported in the future.

But in the meantime, there is work to do !

Version 3 is here, with a core update on how features are loaded. This will allow easily
creating handlers for specific use cases.

Added a new on-demand selector that you can trigger by pressing Ctrl + ,
