The notes synced over to my desktop app right away. I'm not sure what the trouble has been with prior reviews. Someone mentioned that you need to be logged into Firefox first before you can log into Evernote. While I can't confirm, I will specify that I *am* logged into this addons page, but I am *not* signed in to sync when I check the upper right menu icon. Hope this helps.

Review by @goranlonnqvist on Sep 2, 2017 worked for me too. Even though downgrading also works, adding "https://" link of evernote to Prefs->Privacy->Exception list is /the/ solution at the moment.
Evernote couldn't update the addon for months; shame on them. But, guys, please dont get upset; full functionality is still on 6.9.3; stick with this working old version until /they/ come with the new one.
In earlier reviews they mentioned the solution:
* Go to about:addons and remove current web clipper
* Go to version page: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/evernote-web-clipper/versions/
* Scroll down to 6.9.3 and click "add to firefox"
* After the installation, use as usual.
Since I have to give a star rating for the review I, personally, rate the "function" not the "not-why-and-how-they-were-late-to-update-the-addon". If any user want to do the later, go to evernote support page and complain over there.
I am sure they will come with lots of functionality as well as solutions to problems with the long waited update to the addon. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13232276, 7 years agoCon la activación de cookies para evernote.com se soluciona.

- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 13208335, 7 years agoThis plug-in used to be solid, but this year it's become increasingly unreliable. Can't get it to do anything most days!

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 12533933, 7 years agoThis add-on has got me hooked to Evernote in the first place. I guess the bitter reviews must have pertained to some older version. The current add-on is not only a compatible WebExtension, but has never failed on me (and I use it at least 10 times a day). I hope more good reviews pour in to show some support.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Анатолий, 7 years agoEvernote Web Clipper Отличное расширение и работает отлично во всех браузерах кроме FireFox 54.0.1. Разработчики спрятали свои косяки за записью Совместимо с Firefox 57+, а где он Firefox 57+ В общем из двух выбираю Evernote и ухожу из MozillaFirefox. Браузеров хватает на любой вкус!
- Rated 5 out of 5by Kpop, 7 years agoNo idea what everyones issue is, I logged in no dramas. You just need to have a firefox account that is logged in, logs into evernote and saves the page / or hightlighted info into whatever notebook / note you tell it too. Tags work fine also.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13193516, 7 years agoIt works perfectly well on Chrome and Safari but the Evernote add-on for Firefox doesn't allow me to log in. After several attempts, a pop up window to login appears, but once I put in my login details and hit connect, the window disappears but nothing happens. Fix it, please.
- Rated 1 out of 5by kenf, 7 years agoIt does not work, useless. Evernote you could do better for your paying customers. I would give it 0 stars if I could.
- Rated 1 out of 5by StrangeAttractor, 7 years agoMan, I have been so patient with Evernote. I have used it to organize research, and esp. to clip web articles, and each iteration gets worse and worse (and it was never very good in Firefox, but at least it worked). Seriously, Firefox users, don't bother with this plugin. I have a lot of privacy add-ons, like NoScript and Ublock, so perhaps one of these is interfering, in spite of the fact that I've tried to whitelist Evernote in every one of them. But still. I shouldn't have to do that -- most Firefox users have a strong dislike of cookies and automatic scripting etc. and prefer to opt-in rather than opt-out. If Evernote cared at all about Firefox users, it would be apparent by now. They don't. Trying to login results in a blank screen in the popup window everytime, in spite of numerous complaints. I'm very sad to say -- Evernote, which was once such a brilliant app, is dead in the water. Trying to find out what to use instead, and how to migrate nearly a decade of notes. Way to run a great idea into the ground.
