   This Privacy Notice applies to personal information processed by us while using the Fakespot Firefox Browser Add-on (collectively, the "Service" or "Services").

   Please note that, in the event that you have used Fakespot in the past without an account, any prior data associated with your IP address will not be tied to any new account created.

     • Account Information:
       Creating an account is not necessary to use our Services. If you choose to set up an account with us, we will collect personal information in connection with the creation or administration of your account), such as your name, email address and password.

       We may collect personal information, such as your first and last name, and/or email address when you request information about Fakespot or our Services, request support, or otherwise communicate with us.
       
     • Surveys:
       We may contact you to participate in surveys. If you decide to participate, we may collect personal information from you in connection with the survey.
       
     • Interactive Features:
       We and others who use our Services may collect personal information that you submit or make available through our interactive features (e.g., social media pages, review analyzer, Fakespot chat).
       
     • Product Interaction:
       If you opt-in to sharing data about your product interactions, we collect information about your platform and internet browser (browser name, browser version) as well as about how you interact with our Services and what features you use within the Services, including Fakespot's sort bar, highlights, review grade, seller ratings, alternative sellers, settings and popups ("Interaction Data").

       • Identifiers:
         
         • User ID: If you have a Fakespot account, information such as screen name, handle, account ID, or other user- or account-level ID that can be used to identify a particular user or account. This information could be provided via your Fakespot account, Apple ID, Google Account, or other accounts you may use on the Services. User ID also includes your account password, other credentials, security questions, and confirmation codes.
         • Device ID: Your device information which includes, but is not limited to, information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device.
       • Usage Data: Other Usage Data: Individual URL, web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Service, and other information about how you interact with the Service.
       • Application Search History:
         Information about searches you perform in our Services.
         
       • Purchase Information:
         Your purchase tendencies which we may use to recommend better products and sellers.
         
       • Diagnostic Information:
         Any other data collected for the purposes of measuring technical diagnostics related to the app.
         
       • Location Information:
         We may collect your location information, such as geolocation based on your IP address in connection with your use of our Services.

       Cookies and similar technologies such as pixel tags, web beacons, clear GIFs, JavaScript, and local storage (hereafter, "Cookies") are small files containing pieces of information that are saved to your computer or device when you visit a website. Fakespot, and third parties that provide content, advertising, and other functionality on our Services, use Cookies to help make our websites work, as well as to collect information on how you use and interact with our websites, such as the pages you visit.          Our Services may contain social media buttons, such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn, which might include widgets such as the "share this" button or other interactive mini programs). These features may collect personal information such as your IP address and which page you are visiting on our Services, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. 7. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS of PERSONAL INFORMATION

       Fakespot only uses and discloses sensitive personal information for the following purposes:
       
       • To perform the services or provide the goods reasonably expected by an average consumer who requests those goods or services
       • To prevent, detect, and investigate security incidents that compromise the availability, authenticity, integrity, and or confidentiality of stored or transmitted personal information.
       • To resist malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal actions directed at Fakespot and to prosecute those responsible for those actions.
       • To ensure the physical safety of natural persons.
       • To verify or maintain the quality or safety of a product, service, or device that is owned, manufactured, manufactured for, or controlled by Fakespot, and to improve, upgrade, or enhance the service or device that is owned, manufactured by, manufactured for, or controlled by Fakespot.
     • Non-Discrimination:
       California residents have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment by us for the exercise of their rights conferred by the CCPA.
       
     • Authorized Agent:
       Only you, or someone legally authorized to act on your behalf, may make a verifiable consumer request related to your personal information. To authorize an agent, provide written authorization signed by you and your designated agent using the information found in "Contact Us" below and ask us for additional instructions.
       
   
   
10. CHILDREN'S INFORMATION:
    You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age without needing parental consent required by your country, provincial, or local law). Our Service is not directed at anyone under the age of 13 (or the minimum age without needing parental consent required by your country, provincial, or local law). 11. OTHER PROVISIONS
    
    • Marketing Affiliates:
      Fakespot partners with third-party businesses through affiliate marketing programs (collectively "Marketing Affiliates") to offer you product and seller alternatives through our Services. As a result, Fakespot may earn commission from its Marketing Affiliates from some of your interactions with our Services including, but not limited to, clicking on links to third-party websites, clicking on advertising links, or purchasing an item. Fakespot does not share or sell any of your personal information generated on our Services to our Marketing Affiliates.
