    Doesn't work in the UK at least

    no i am not misunderstanding, it doesn't work for me in the UK.

    it defaults to the imgur main page for some reason

    Hello, You may have misunderstood what this extension is for. It proxies i.imgur.com/xx.x links only for images embedded in other websites. it does not unblock the frontend of imgur.com
