- Rated 5 out of 5by Lightsie, 5 years agoHonestly, I made an account JUST to review this app. It has a ton of features, the layout is modern, and so far I have not experienced any glitches. Thank you so much for making this. And now I can format my Gaia Online posts easier than having to copy and paste.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 14530658, 5 years agoThere are a few bugs/ fixes that could be made here, I would love to give 5 stars but first the item images for wishlist need to be moveable in Icon only mode. It's a pain to try organizing a list of over 1000 items when you have to scroll up and down the lists with the icon only mode off. Also the other problem with the wishlist is the icon only mode is not letting anyone click directly on the item they want to look at but the item beneath or above instead. Otherwise this is a great app and helps make gaia an easier website to use.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15105287, 5 years agoLots of helpful tools to make gaiaonline.com a more user friendly interface for it's uses. For example, I love that I can save and modify post formats so my text style is saved and doesn't have to be copy-pasted every time like the old days. Gaiaupgrade has also earned me TONS of profits with their marketplace tools. They show more in-depth details when you are selling items, and they show more details for purchasing as well, such as how MANY of a certain item you already have. Also the wishlist notifier is AMAZING! Gives you a pop-up regularly with the first 10 or 20 or something items on your wishlist which went from Unlisted to having listings available on the MP!
So no more randomly having to search for every wishlist item to see if it's got a listing or not yet. GU will notify you.
My only critique is with this function as well though. We have no way to control WHICH items we are notified about via the wishlist notification tool. I want to be able to select which items I am notified about when they become listed, and which items I don't want notifications about at all.
Otherwise thanks and great work!Developer response
posted 5 years agoHi! If you go to the marketplace landing page, GaiaUpgrade adds a "Get Notified" button that allows you to select items to be notified about. Hope this helps. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13456347, 6 years agoBest plugin for Gaia to date. My favorite feature is the marketplace notifications -- makes finding something you're questing for so much easier!

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 13825807, 7 years agoI have had this add-on in the past with another computer of mine and I loved it! It fixed so many issues and made life on gaia so much better. This a great thing to have... when it works. Unfortunately, lately every time I use it, the features fail me. Specifically the dumpster dive, the daily chance, the notification/announcements thing. t says I must be logged in to use the feature and any further navigation logs me off. I've removed and re-added this twice now and the problem persists. The issue is also making it so I can't view the notification or announcements individually without logging me off.
This app is fantastic if it works for you.Developer response
posted 7 years agoUnfortunately this is not so much an issue with GaiaUpgrade, but an issue with Gaia. We have not been able to identify why Gaia thinks the user is not logged in. GaiaUpgrade makes the requests to Gaia, using the same requests that Gaia uses, but the response Gaia returns is the log in issue sometimes. We will continue looking into this to hopefully resolve it. I apologize for the inconvenience. - Rated 5 out of 5by Vuro, 7 years agoMy experience on Gaia would be much worse without this. I know Gaia has tried to cut down on their sales announcements, but sometimes I can't be bothered to click through each one individually just to clear the queue and this add-on streamlines the process of dismissing the alerts. It also makes keeping track of wishlist, inventory, and marketplace items bearable.
