I can configure all gestures that I use my own way.
The best! - Rated 4 out of 5by Ds32, 7 years agoThere are not enough options to add some sites to an exception, for example tinkercad.com
- Rated 5 out of 5by Wingpin, 7 years agoThere is an issue with the Extra features: rocker gestures and wheel gestures. Occasionally, the right-click button will be held down in a tab until the right button is pressed again. This is a problem when trying to scroll, because it will browser zoom in/out when scrolling up/down respectively. This is also a problem in a similar addon called FoxyGestures, but was not a problem in the original FireGestures. With the extra features off, then this add-on is flawless for my use but I really liked rocker gestures.
Currently on the latest stable Firefox release.
Edit: This is actually a conflict between Gesturefy and Zoom Page WE (which I use because it seems that there is no default way to set global zoom in Firefox), which has the option to scroll with right-click and zoom wheel turned on by default. Don't know which app is at fault, because separately they implement the right-click function well. I will leave the original review up in case anyone runs into the same problem, since Zoom Page WE is also a popular add-on.
One "life-hack" I found regarding right-click actions such as wheel and rocker gestures is that I can set my own rocker/wheel gestures in AutoHotKey script and use Gesturefy with the same actions to automatically suppress the right-click context menu. This is advantageous because these actions will work within New Tab page, and other pages where gestures are not permitted.
5-star add-on from me; thanks for your help.Developer response
posted 7 years agoHey. Sorry, we can not really understand your issue. Could you please open an issue with more information here? https://github.com/Robbendebiene/Gesturefy/issues - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13935087, 7 years ago
- Rated 4 out of 5by CookyHR, 7 years agoGreat! You got the "firegestures" working again.
Well, almost.
I see the same gesturefy now works in different versions of the FireFox too .
Now only one request (for now?)
So that 'd be PERFECT if I could - somehow -
- "export" the setings of gestures chosen/configured in one profile,
then transfer that to another machine / user profile / whatever,
- and import it again .
i do have a 32bit "ESR" and quantum-64bit version of FF on this machine, an quantum version on another
That one is running macos, so probably some stuff will work differently there too.
( FireIE never worked on Mac, and a FireSafari didn't exist) - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13932260, 7 years ago진짜 최고의 마우스 제스쳐 앱이다

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13676642, 7 years agoIf you can't add the pop-up search feature because it needs additional API why don't you add on the settings page the possibility to assign different gestures to different search engines ? There's only one search engine option you added why not allow more search engines to be added so we can assign different gestures to different search engines ? That should be easy and I actually use another extension that just allows me to do that.

posted 7 years agoYou can mouseover the red field which will show a tooltip describing which action is using this gesture. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13911315, 7 years agoReally well made extension, but the only drawback is that it does not work with touchscreen (using rightclick with fingers)....

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 13672878, 7 years agoThis extension lacks some very needed features like when I select different words on webpages then do a gesture a pop-up should open with all my websearch engines or at least 4 or 5 of them that I could add on the settings and then I select the search engine and a new tab would open in the background or foreground with the search, that way I usually search for content on the web with Google, Youtube, Dictionary or other webpages that have search engines on them, it's very easy to search content that way you just select words like complete song names then do a gesture select Youtube and voila the song is found, or select names open Google images and find the person, even on Facebook, Twiter etc.

posted 7 years agoThis feature is already planned, unfortunatly it requires some additional API, which is not yet implemented by mozilla. For more information see here: https://github.com/Robbendebiene/Gesturefy/issues/99 - Rated 5 out of 5by vidhyarthi, 7 years ago
