- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13474759, 7 years agoThe UI is nice. Too bad about the API limitations. Could you please add a gesture to close the current tab? I know that there is a close window gesture, but closing tabs is a much more common practice.

posted 7 years agoI agree, thats why it already exisits, it is called "Remove Tab" :) - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13470674, 7 years agoWorks great. Any chance that gestures would work on blank pages too?

posted 7 years agoSadly no, but you can change the new tab page to a website via extensions like "New Tab Override". - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13467733, 7 years agoGood extension, has all the gesture functionality that I need although I run into a bit of an issue with opening tabs.
I like all my new tabs to open at the end of the tab row which is achievable by going into about:config and setting browser.tabs.insertRelatedAfterCurrent to false. This opens all tabs at the end of the tab row however for some reason when I open new tab from a link via a mouse gesture it doesn't obey this behaviour and instead opens it next to the current tab.
If there was an option for the behaviour that I want that would be excellent. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13463699, 7 years agoI am a Linux user, setting the middle button as Gesture button is as good as it gets. Easy and intuitive configuration, it does what I need as a former user of FireGestures.

Hey, please read the description:
> For MacOS & Linux users: Use left or middle mouse button due to the different right click/context menu behaviour (see this bug ( https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1360278 ))
I DID try left, right and middle scroll wheel. DOES NOT WORK. Had to revert back to FF 56 and use Fire Gestures.
UPDATE - literally ten minutes later the add-one started to work!!!! But works intermittently. Not reliable
UPDATE - Works 100% now. One thing missing. Restore window size! After maximizing window, I often want to restore it to previous size. At present can only maximize or minimize. FEATURE REQUEST! Do this and I'll give 5 stars! Thanks for being responsiveDeveloper response

Update: thanks for your updates, because of your request look here https://github.com/Robbendebiene/Gesturefy/issues/112 - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 12214374, 7 years agoWHEN OTHERS SAY DOESN'T WORK ON ALL PAGES, THEY MEAN IT. So when you think its not working at all, try other webpages.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13455515, 7 years agoPros:
+ intuitive setup
+ unlike Foxy Gestures you can set a gesture to close the window
Cons:
- unlike FireGestures, the gestures don't work untill current tab has partially loaded
- unlike FireGestures, the bloody thing doesn't work on some tabs at all (such as the one I'm writing this at or a new tab) - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13455022, 7 years agoI would be nice if the extension somehow let user know, that right mouse btn can not be used. Otherwise looks good.

Does it only work on certain pages like about:addon or newtab? Then look here:
> The addon does not work on https://addons.mozilla.org, pure svg pages and internal pages like about:newtab, about:addons or other addon option pages.

自分の設定していたジェスチャーが、ほぼ使えているので、満足しています。 - Rated 4 out of 5by prosper, 7 years agoI like this extension.but it can not be used on many pages, such as Component Manager Pages, Extensions; can it add more actions?such as Save As, Restart. . .
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13445946, 7 years agoNot bad ,but can't work on some page on FF57 ,such as NEW TAB PAGE.
还不错,但是不能再火狐57的一些页面使用,譬如新标签页。 - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13446926, 7 years agoWorking almost fine.
However, gestures cannot be used on new tab or setting tab due to the limitation of Quantum API.
It really sucks because the behavior of gestures is not consistent with every tabs.
Wheel gesture stops switching tabs when it encounters a blank tab.
A blank tab cannot be closed casually with mouse gesture.
Such ridiculous behavior...
I think it's time to stop using firefox.
It was such a great update, thanks. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 9912334, 7 years ago
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13440350, 7 years agoFirefox Quantumにしたら今までのマウスジェスチャーが使えなくなったので、これを選びました。使いやすいですね。ただ、設定画面の一部のボタンで文字化けが発生しています。

1 left mouse button gestures for urls and selected text
2 gesture - open url in current pageDeveloper response
posted 7 years ago1) You mean something like a "drag gesture"?
2) Sounds reasonable for non-linked URLs. - Rated 4 out of 5by horna1, 7 years agoZoom step
The zoom in/out step in percentage. If left blank, the default zoom levels are used.
I have custom default zoom levels in about:config and those zoom steps are not working with this addon.
edit.
Custom zoom settings in the addon are not working neither, or am i missing something?
edit.
My bad, custom zoom step is working now, but it can't zoom past 300% and that sucks for me..Developer response
posted 7 years agoThis is because It's not possible to read the settings from about:config with the new API. Therefore I'm using the default firefox zoom level settings.
edit:
What do you mean by "Custom zoom settings"? The "zoom step" is working fine for me, in case you are talking about that.
edit:
I agree, but I can't change it. It is limited by firefox likewise you can't zoom past 300% by pressing Ctrl and + - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13340800, 7 years agoI think that because it is a WE there is a slight hesitation when using Gesturefy. It would be great if a "time out" for gestures would be incorporated for when I make a mistake. Without it, I just continue makings a meaningless gesture to cancel.

posted 7 years agoIt's planned for the next version 1.1.11 if no critical bug occurs before it. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13193937, 8 years agoWebext compatible is a plus. Moved from Firegestures to this since this is FF57 ready. Would be better if it worked on pages with frames like FoxyGestures do.
