    It would be nice if it also worked on the new tab. Also, could you add shortcuts to toggle the volume up and down? Thanks

    To make it work on new tab you need to set your new tab to a custom URL in Firefox either about:blank or any website of your liking. Unfortunately this is the only way.

    Extensions cannot control the system volume so a volume toggle command is not possible.

    This should be a native part of the browser.

    It doesn't work on some tabs, e.g. extension tabs which I'm using a lot. But there's no way for dev to work around that, its FF limitation, so 5 stars anyway.
