- Rated 1 out of 5by meandmydog06, 8 years agoRequires you to signup for an account. Doesn't mention that in the description.
- Rated 3 out of 5by Ngo Kim Phu, 8 years agoHas got some uses but the rules are not always correct. Not mentioning the paywall the add-on has some annoying bugs that stopped me using it: the overlay Grammarly textbox breaks out of most modern-css text inputs and also hides the typing caret until you disable the add-on

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13120595, 8 years agoI'm mildly dyslexic, and since having this program my typing has been more legible to an amazing amount. Thank you Grammarly.

maryo - Rated 4 out of 5by Owl, 8 years agoI have Dyslexia and often misspell words. This app as given me extra confidence when writing important emails, knowing that it will correct any mistakes I make. Thanks you!
The only problem I find is, when watching Youtube videos, it can sometimes slow the page and video to a crawl. Sometimes I have to reload the entire video and disable the grammarly app on youtube. - Rated 5 out of 5by Lee Schelin, 8 years agoProgram works nicely with Thunderbird but their pricing model needs to be revisited. Way too expensive as spell check feature is already in Thunderbird. They would gain many more customers and have better cash flow if their pricing was revisited
- Rated 3 out of 5by Frankieo1920, 8 years agoGreat app, does the work it's said to do, and seems to help very well with teaching how to use comma's and how to write sentences correctly.
HOWEVER!
If you are a fast writer, then I CANNOT with good conscious recommend this app.
While I was making a long comment on Facebook, the process was made longer by having this app enabled while writing, because the app could not keep up with my speed of writing, and caused Firefox to run very slowly and laggy, making me wait a second or two before I would be able to see what I've just written, and words would more often than not be jumbled into each other as I had not paused a split second between each fully spelled word so that the app could keep up with controlling words and sentences.
As soon as I had disabled the app, everything went smoothly and perfectly again, and I could write at my own speed again with no laggs or anything.
If the creator can somehow fix this issue, then I would give the app top rating, but seeing as how I want to write at my own speed with no issues, I cannot give this a better score than a 3 star score. - Rated 5 out of 5by Batch1082009, 8 years agoThis is so useful, it shows the errors, spelling and Grammar, you even learn after a while..
- Rated 5 out of 5by jomilson, 8 years agoIt is as good as it is possible, but when someone texts me messages, their English mistakes are assigned to my account, as if I had made them.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 12728140, 8 years agoMy personal and professional life is heavily involved with the expression of ideas and concepts. I greatly appreciate Grammarly for its' ease and impact as it works in the background to improve my accuracy and word choice. Over the years, the program has assisted me with literally thousands of articles, documents, research articles, poetry, proposals, training materials, etc. Thanks Grammarly for being this writers best friend! - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13092150, 8 years agoGrammarly takes the guess work out of sending emails or documents. Whatever I am posting I am confident that I am using proper grammar and spelling
- Rated 5 out of 5by Usem, 8 years agoI use the free version now, and I find it very useful for someone who don't speak English natively. It doesn't show you the vocabulary mistakes only but the grammar and syntaxic ones.
I really love it but I though the fees of monthly or annually version a few expensive for students.
Thank you for Grammarly... - Rated 5 out of 5by Nannu, 8 years ago
