posted 6 years agoHello,
Firefox just broke all add-ons because they forgot to renew the certificate.
There is now a lot of articles about it over the internet, see for example: https://www.ghacks.net/2019/05/04/your-firefox-extensions-are-all-disabled-thats-a-bug/
The official tread where the issue is being tracked and solved is here:
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1548973
For now, I would suggest you - don't panic, don't reinstall anything, the best thing to do is doing nothing.
Since millions of people is affected, this kind of serious issue will be promptly fixed by Firefox team.
If you cannot just wait and enjoy Saturday and you really need your dials page now, you have several options.
The easiest way is using the cloud dials page - but this works only if you have created cloud account: https://group-speed-dial.fastaddons.com/cloud
Others are not so trivial or safe, so please let me know if you want know more.
Best regards,

- Rated 5 out of 5by Elua, 6 years agoI switch to Group Speed Dial from Speed Dial [FVD] because I lost 500+ dials there. Speed Dial [FVD] want me to pay for access for backups. Also Speed Dial [FVD] make Firefox very, very slow. So I m now using Group Speed Dial. It feels much, much better. It is fast, very easy customisable and minimalistic, which I especially love. Only more thing I want here is synchronisation between Firefox bookmarks and this dial addon. I dont trust clouds, I want every crated dial create bookmark in standard bookmark Firefox place. Also it will be very nice if addon can crate speed dials based on collected previously Firefox bookmarks. Ofc, this will need to have option in speed dials to create folder in folder areas, and complicate navigation a bit. But for me this can be best solution. I don't want be surprised again in next few years and lost all my collected dials because its format will be not compatible with anything other and cloud server will go down or get paywall.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Qre, 6 years agoThis is the best replacement for old add-on Speed Dial by Josep del Rio, and only reason for staying with Firefox. They manage to kill every decent addons.
GSD is good looking with many options and is fast.
I have one question and one wish:
Q: Is it possible to add two or more links to one speed dial button? Like in old SD (by Josep) with key " | ". In one click to open two or more pages.
W: I realy like to see option to hide specific group. Maybe with password protection.Developer response
posted 6 years agoHello,
The option to have multiple pages in one dial will be coming in the near future. However not by using "|", there will be a proper setup for that.
Until then, you can create a new group with those dials and then create group-dial (dial pointing to a group) and then use context menu option "Open all dials".
Regarding hiding groups and password protection - this is also planned features. However not so soon. It will be part of end to end encryption update.
Best regards,
