This extension is essentially a copy of a chrome extension https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/hdn-editor-shortcuts/bkniegpppcnebfcfblkamnajejlofdhg that has existed on the chrome web store since 2013 and is used by editors, producers, and engineers that use the Hearst Newspaper digital Content Management System that powers about 50 Hearst web sites. It provides shortcuts to the CMS, which is behind a firewall. Other features such as on-page-edit are provided (assuming one is inside the firewall and logged in to the CMS.)
