- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox Account, 5 years agoThe best image-saver app that I have found for EITHER FF or Chrome browsers. It finds all the images from the sites I use, and saves the full-res versions. The preview window that opens is PERFECT, since it displays a custom-sizeable thumbnail, image size, dimensions, etc. You can filter out all of the junk or decide if you want to save an image without navigating to the tab it's open on.
The best part is the developer mentally understands the workflow a lot of us use to save images, i.e.,
- Have a gallery open on Tab 1
- browse the gallery and start mouse-wheel clicking on candidate images to open them in their own tabs
- open the Image Picka and confirm everything you want to download
- click DOWNLOAD
- close tabs to the right and keep going!
Most image savers don't seem to understand this, for example many assume that you want to save every image in the whole gallery, which is crazy. Or, like so many other add ons, they just don't work :(
Thanks for a great free add on that actually WORKS! - Rated 5 out of 5by pocotaru, 5 years ago

0.12.0 is a big rewrite, so something might be broken. - Rated 5 out of 5by cgc, 5 years agoKleines, unaufdringliches, Ressourcen schonendes, nur mit den essentiellen Berechtigungen ausgestattetes, hilfreiches Tool mit interessanten Konfigurationsoptionen, die man nutzen sollte - nur mit den essentiellen Berechtigungen ausgestattet; ergänzt und unterscheidet sich in seiner Arbeitsweise von den anderen Downloadhelfern, tut genau, was es tun sollte.

Am i doing something wrong or is that feature not implanted yet?

posted 5 years agoThis extension collects images that are displayed on the page. If the page only displays a small size image (thumbnail), then the extension will get the thumbnail. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 10424508, 5 years ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 12908324, 5 years agoA very straightforward and easy to use extension that just works. If you have a lot of images to download from a webpage this is the extension you'd really appreciate.
P.S.> Would be much better if made to also work on mobile devices. (you can get to the image pick view, but has issues with saving and some layout adjustments for mobile views would be nice) - Rated 5 out of 5by kris_x, 5 years ago

- Rated 4 out of 5by Dman110, 6 years agoLove the extension, but confused..Is there a way to save original size of images on batch download? seems to be capped out at 300x200 on most images.

posted 6 years agoImage Picka grabs images on the page. If you load the original size of the image, the extension can grab it. Otherwise, you can map the thumbnail URL to its original size URL by using the "transform URL" option. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15087493, 6 years ago
