posted 4 years agoHi there, thanks for your feedback. I'm sorry to hear that the extension caused you to archive emails that you didn't intend to. I'll work on making it clearer that the checkmark buttons perform the archiving action.
(To give some background info, the archive icon was changed to a checkmark icon to match the checkmark used in Google Inbox. Google Inbox also had a similar feature for archiving all emails in a bundle. While former Inbox users are familiar with the icon, I recognize that it's not clear to everyone else.)
- I'm actively working on adding options to enable/disable individual bundles (more info at https://github.com/teresa-ou/inboxy/issues/17).
- I'll look into what may be causing the date headers not to appear for you. Note: if you're using Gmail in a non-English language, the date headers won't appear due to limitations with the date formatting.
- The bundles are intentionally limited to the inbox page; however, I might consider allowing them to appear on other pages (https://github.com/teresa-ou/inboxy/issues/32).
- When you first install the extension, you do need to reload the Gmail page, which may not be intuitive. This is also true for some other Gmail browser extensions. After the initial reload, no additional page reloads are needed, i.e. when you receive new emails, the extension will bundle them as they arrive.
