- Rated 1 out of 5by The Explorator, 21 hours agoI had to uninstall this extension due to major performance problems. After installing Fraude Scanner, my Firefox browser became extremely slow, unresponsive, and started hanging frequently.
Checking my system's Activity Monitor revealed the issue: Firefox RAM usage skyrocketed to 98% of my 8GB RAM (on an M3 Mac). This caused significant lag and made browsing nearly impossible.
The moment I disabled and removed the extension, my browser's memory usage immediately dropped back to normal levels and all performance issues vanished.
The concept might be good, but in its current state, the extension has a critical memory leak or optimization problem that makes it unusable. I will consider trying it again only if the developer addresses and fixes these severe performance issues in a future update. Until then, I cannot recommend it. - Rated 3 out of 5by Drago, a year agoReally good intention. Unfortunantely, the translation into other languages is not well-implemented yet (-1 star). The detection rate from other addons like "Bitdefender Traffic Light" is still much better and also "Adguard Adblocker" is somewhat more precise, but its definitely an addon with potential (-0 stars).
But you absolutely should not block the addons settings unless the user have registered, that's very unserious behavior of an addon (-1 star).
I'd be glad to test your extension again in a few month.
