Doesn't connect to phone or PC host in Ubuntu 24.04

"ERROR: Could not connect to native host
No version response received from native host."

I'm guess this is some permissions problem, not sure why. Firefox is installed by default in Ubuntu.

    I'm not sure how to proceed: On windows 10, I run the -install command but I am prompted to choose which program with which to open the file, and am not prompted to select my desired browser.

    Windows is currently unsupported, there is a pending PR that implements the communication (DBUS) component, but I also need to rewrite the installer to support the Windows terminal.

    Not working with Firefox 114.0.1 on Ubuntu 22.04, "no available devices". Yes I installed the native host component.

    Currently unable to use the add-on, read the GitHub section about NMH and instructions don't quite apply for Windows users, I would like to try to make it work but don't have the know how, anyone has any suggestions besides switching to Linux?

    lo tengo instalado en linuxmint y me funciono muy bien. reinstale linuxmint y ya lo quite desktop no funciono ahora lo instalo como extension en firefox , espero funcione igual.

    In order to make it work you have to follow the instructions provided at github: https://github.com/pdf/kdeconnect-chrome-extension. Afterwards, everything works fine

    Improved my experience on KDE.
    Now with Firefox sync we can communicate with the browser but not with the rest of the phone, this extension improve the experience a lot!

    update 0.14, it also show 'No devices found...'

    Do you have the native host installed successfully? If you leave the popup open for a second, do any additional error messages appear?
