by Snowmaniac80, 7 years agoIt's all free! All the features of KeePass and the Kee Plugin are available for free as Open Source Software. You are not going to be asked to pay a fee to unlock some feature you really want to use.
Works across all platforms. I use various versions of Windows, Linux, and OS-X. No mater what machine I go to all my passwords and logins are at my finger tips. Note you must run KeePass with Mono outside of Windows.
You have control of your password security. Not counting on a third party to store your passwords securely. I recommend saving your KeePass database to a small USB drive and attaching it to your key chain to have your passwords with you at every machine you work on. Keep a copy of KeePass Portable on the drive as well, and take advantage of Firefox Sync to sync the Kee Plugin to all your machines.
KeePass has a great password generator that supports various password requirements. Unfortunately the Kee Plugin does not fully support all options in the KeePass password generator, so occasionally I have to Alt-Tab from Firefox over to KeePass to generate a new password. Maybe Luckyrat in his spare time can expand the password generator support? :)

- Rated 3 out of 5by Stefan, 4 months agoWorks well with KeePass but it takes over and turns off Firefox's own password remember function which means I don't get the logins suggested that Firefox has saved and have to open the about:logins page and manually copy the password every time I need one of those passwords which is very annoying.
Would give 5 stars if this was fixed. - Rated 5 out of 5by Christophe, 4 months agoWorks perfectly fine as long as you are using the RPC plugin that you can find on luckyrat github repo or KeePass.info web site. I bet all people who say it doesn't work forgot that step.

Now it just promotes something called Kee Vault. I couldn't care less. - Rated 5 out of 5by usr999, 5 months ago

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 18182127, a year agoGreat value for my daily workflow. What I'm missing is the option to hide expired logins or at least make it visible which logins are expired.

Sorry for the trouble Luckyrat and thanks for that great extension <3

I've been using it for years along with KeePass and it was great, but version 3.10.10 was the end of it : it now requires to create an account and pay a yearly subscription.
Thanks but no thanks, I will stick to v3.2.7 which worked flawlessly, for free, and without asking for my information.Developer response
posted 2 years agoThis is not true. Please check out our free support community forum at https://forum.kee.pm if you have some technical problem with the latest version since using security software from 4 years ago is risky. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 12934666, 2 years agoVery good tool, it's so needed in my workflow.
One more extension that keeps Firefox being the best browser for me, since mid-2000's !! - Rated 1 out of 5by Anonymous, 2 years ago
